Jasper Maiden by Sandra Quandelacy
A small prominent brown and maroon veined jasper maiden figure created by Sandra Quandelacy depicting one corn maiden and two mothers - all with jet inlaid features and incised flowing hair. A gray and black veined hand made Picasso marble bowl is inlaid to the top of the heads with a pin. Sandra has inlaid bits of turquoise and apple coral chips inside the bowl. Each maiden wears a pendant - created from apple coral, turquoise and lapis. Finally; there are incised dragonflies and star bursts surrounding the maidens - inlaid with jet.
