Each leg is carved in the round with the two front legs lifting off of the ground - thanks to the base created from the same stone. There are incised patterns on the horse's mane and tail with the carved as well ever so slightly - it is almost indecipherable. Horse medicine calls the viewer to expand one's own potential abilities, tethering power over the environment by utilizing varying degrees of control and or dominance - offering up a good example of cooperation.
