Agate Horse by Hubert Pincion, Deceased

$ 105.00

A bucolic muted cream, red sienna and grayish pink veined horse carved by the now deceased Hubert Pincion with its head to the ground looking for some grass to eat with turquoise inlaid eyes. Hubert carved the horse's leg with good confirmation in the round. Then he incised lines on the horse's mane and tail. Carved solely with hand tools by the now deceased Hubert Pincion - who died sadly in 2018 from undiagnosed stomach cancer. The horse represents the power of the animal world literally "harnessed" for the benefit of the human race. Horse medicine calls the self to expand one's own potential abilities, tethering control of the environment, inter-species communication and offers us a good example of cooperation. The Zuni believe the horse has healing powers.
