Chrysocolla Platypus by Loren Tsalabutie
An adorable copper blue, viridian green, brown and navy blue colored chrysocolla platypus with apple coral inlaid eyes that look up at the viewer. Carved by Loren Tsalabutie - this personable platypus is carved to balance on its left hind leg and foot. The balance we think is due to the position of the head and front forearms. There is a fantastic apple coral, orange spiny oyster necklace with one small shell pendant that will come in a separate bagie for safe shipping since Loren did not make the necklace tight fitting. Platypus have specialized, highly webbed feet that function similarly to flippers when swimming. The platypus symbolizes unapologetic individuality, adaptability, and the blending of seemingly opposing forces. Having a duck's bill, otter's feet, and beaver's tail, the platypus represents the embrace of unconventional traits, self-acceptance, and the courage to remain undefinable in a world of rigid labels.
