A plump muted burnt umber, cream, navy and cobalt blue colored sodalite frog with coral dots inlaid to the raised eye sockets by Leland Boone and Daphne Quam. Daphne has added a heart shaped clam shell arrowhead to the top of the frog's back with sinew and then she has added two turquoise beads. The Zuni believe the frog is a reminder that we are all the same - development wise - we begin as tiny fishlike creatures in the womb then we evolve from swimmers to creatures of the land. The frogs sings its song reminding us of our watery beginning.
