Wild Horse Rock Medicine Bear by Andres Lementino
A dark maroon, brown and white veined wild horse rock medicine bear with turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Andres Lementino. Andres has added one of his spectacular double Zuni sun face on the bear's left side utilizing turquoise triangles to represent the sun rays surrounding bits of apple coral, jet, gold-lip and mother-of-pearl. The medicine bear shape is thought to resemble a cave opening - depicting a bear coming out of hibernation and the pose is the bear sniffing the ground for healing herbs.
