Sandra has carved a mother on one side with a melon shell inlaid face and a corn maiden with incised corn rows on the opposite side with a turquoise inlaid face - both have jet inlaid features and wear a coral dot necklace. There are incised dragonflies inlaid with jet on both sides of the maidens' fringe shawls. This is a lyrical carving - the shawl almost mimic wings; the way they bellow outwards! Note - the maiden is inlaid to a turquoise base with a pin for added stability.
