Cuprite / Sonoran Sunrise Bird, Sparrow by Chris Sandoval - Zuni Fetish
A copper blue Sonoran Sunrise and a muted dark maroon cuprite colored sparrow created by Chris Sandoval - delivered to Sunshine Studio in September of 2022. Chris has not inlaid eyes on this bird - instead he has added a fantastic offering bundle around the neck of the bird like a necklace full of chunky turquoise beads with two branch coral beads added and positioned to rest on the top of the sparrow's neck. The sparrow meaning in native culture is joy, contentment, friendliness, inclusion, resourcefulness, and simplicity.
