A large lime/olive green serpentine lizard carved perched on top of big rock with turquoise inlaid eyes inlaid to the raised eye sockets. Carved by the now deceased Vinton Kalestewa, this lizard has a simple offering bundle wrapped around the lizard's neck with sinew featuring branch coral, turquoise and melon shell heishi. Vinton died in June of 2009 in the car crash that also killed Jeff Tsalabutie. Lizards are associated with healing, survival & protection - especially of children - as well as prosperity, renewal, good luck and also masculinity.
