Russian Marble Humpback Whale by Melvin Sandoval

A maroon & mauve toned Russian marble humpback whale fetish created by the the abstract carver Melvin Sandoval & delivered to Sunshine Studio in July of 2019. The salient forms are the front pectoral fins, the blowhole and the the flukes on the tail. The form created by the body is very lyrical, however abstract the carving may be.
