Spiny Oyster Bird by Delvin Leekya

$ 96.00

A mid-sized, well-worn spiny oyster shell scavenged from the Baja, Mexico area, has been cleverly utilized to make a flying bird in the style of the ancient Hohokam carvers! Carved by Delvin Leekya, there are nice grooves incised on the shell to symbolize the wings and tail with three inlaid vertical strips on the tail of turquoise* , jet and gold-lip, with big turquoise* inlaid eyes!
