Sebastian Santos is an artist we don't know too much about - we think he's in his early thirties. We do know that he was to be in an unpublished book by the now deceased writer; Kent McManis, that was to feature collector/shop owners' top 25 artists to keep an eye on. Sebastian is known for creating movement with animals taking a step with their front paws. He finds the best stones such as jasperite, Sonoran sunrise/cuprite, snowflake obsidian, bird's eye jasper, jadeite & turquoise. The animals are nicely polished but seldom have incised lines - he only uses them to delineate the anatomical forms. The animals we think he has perfected are the mountain lions, wolves, badgers & now medicine bears; often times he includes an offering bundle.
