A unique brownish cream and brown veined Picasso marble with turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Allison Wallace. Allison has added twelve turquoise dots to the top of the turtle's back in a circle around the edge of the shell then added one dot to the center of the ring. Indigenous people recognize the turtle as the symbol of Mother Earth - some Native Americans believe that the turtle contributed to creation because the turtle dove into the primeval waters to retrieve mud to create Mother Earth.
