Turquoise Maiden Figure by Sandra Quandelacy
A turquoise maiden figure with a gray matrix carved by Sandra Quandelacy depicting three corn maidens on one side and three mothers on the opposite - all with jet inlaid features. The maidens all have pendants - the corn maidens wear from left to right - a turquoise, apple coral and melon shell hand made pendant. The mothers on the opposite side wear a lapis, apple coral and green serpentine pendant. Sandra incised corn rows, dresses and hair strands making each female figure stand out.
