A small cream colored antler smiling frog carved by Robert Michael Weahkee utilizing the burr end of the horn to great effect! The eyes sockets are slightly rounded then Robert inlaid a coral dot in the centers of each. As well, Robert has added seven coral hand made dots to the center of the frog's back - symbolizing rain we have been told. The Zuni believe the frog is a reminder that we are all the same - development wise - we begin as tiny fishlike creatures in the womb then we evolve from swimmers to creatures of the land. The frogs sings its song reminding us of our watery beginning.
