A cream and tan colored alabaster swan with turquoise inlaid eyes, spiny oyster pigment painted beak and jet pigment inlaid eye and beak line. This gentle swan was carved by the now deceased Hubert Pincion, who died roughly around October 2018. Swans don't typically figure into Zuni myths though swans are associated with the sky in some tribal traditions, and as with other white waterfowl, swan feathers are considered a symbol of harmony and spirituality.
