The face is the pièce de résistance - with pin point lapis inlaid eyes, burnished nose and ears and the lyrical twelve inlaid 28 gauge whiskers and six 22 gauge dots. The lower half of the otter's face and chest are carved in the porous brown marrow area of the horn - contrasting nicely with the cream colored body, bringing the viewer's attention to the lyrical shiny silver whiskers that we think Troy had fun making. This is the second antler carved otter Troy has created in this style and we feel blessed to have it.
