Panthers

     

The panther has long been regarded in Native American mythology as a protector of the universe, and the Zuni believe their ancestors wanted the world to be guarded by beings such as these large cats because of their keen sense of sight and smell.  As would be expected, the panther is a powerful totem of aggressiveness, power, and courage.
