Robert is quite proud of the bead addition and we have been told by the artist that he uses beads that have healing properties. The parent turtle has a burnished\/burned nose and mouth,as well as the top of the head and right below the shell. Turtle medicine teaches one to go with the flow, due to the turtle's proclivity to go with the current.
