A low-to-the-ground honey calcite mole with turquoise slit style inlaid eyes, carved by Ryan Awelagte and delivered to Sunshine Studio's front porch in November of 2021. Ryan has added a lovely offering bundle to the top of the carving, featuring branch turquoise, turquoise, amber and flouorite beads as well as melon shell heishi. Moles share a connection with the energies of the earth, have knowledge of herbs, roots, minerals, seeds and rivers, are sensitive to touch & vibration and remind us all to turn inwards - allowing for introspection and awareness of the subtle energies & influences that shape our lives.
