A gold-lip mother-of-pearl olla/water bearing corn maiden with jet inlaid features carved by Stuart Quandelacy. Stewart has filled the bowl with inlaid turquoise chips that represent water. Above and below the bowl are jet, turquoise, cuprite and pipestone dots as well as jet inlaid stars. The maiden symbolizes abundance, fertility and feminine energy & the corn maiden is venerated in Zuni for giving up her life for the health of the community.
