Yttrium Fluorite Maiden by Burt Awelagte

A lovely yttrium fluorite olla/water maiden with a large jar balanced on her head & jet inlaid features. She carries a basket in her hands & wears an 11 dot lapis inlaid necklace and is inlaid and perfectly balanced on a pink mussel shell used to symbolize the water. Carved & delivered to Sunshine by Burt Awelagte, we are told that this maiden is praying for water. The shell has geometrically incised lines around most of the edges forming 4 points and is inlaid with 27 turquoise dots on the outside of the points and 25 lapis dots are inlaid inside of the lines. There are also incised dragonflies on the mussel shell 'water'. This is quite lovely and the shell could be filled will blue corn to offer one's carvings!
