Jet Bird, Raven by Michael Coble

A large jet raven with turquoise* inlaid eyes carved high up in a tree with a coral 'pebble' in it's mouth by Michael Coble with his characteristic incised detail work incised on the bird and tree. Ravens swallow pebbles and store them in their gizzards to aid the breakdown of tough material.
