A red, gray and white tourmaline frog with turquoise inlaid eyes in the raised eyes sockets carved by Loren Tsalabutie and delivered to Sunshine Studio in early December of 2021. Tourmaline attracts inspiration, compassion, tolerance and prosperity. It balances the right-left sides of the brain. The Zuni believe the frog is a reminder that we are all the same - development wise - we begin as tiny fishlike creatures in the womb then we evolve from swimmers to creatures of the land. The frogs sings its song reminding us of our watery beginning.
