A small green turquoise horned toad with a brown matrix and turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Lance Cheama. The toads crown and ridges are carved in great detail, considering how small this carving is. To the Zuni; the horned toad lizard represents good luck & curative powers. There is also a link in Native American belief between the horned toad & lightning; deriving from the zigzag spikes on the horns and the ridges.
