Ron Laahty
Chrysocolla / Tenorite Maiden by Ron Laahty
A lovely corn maiden with long flowing hair & turquoise features, delivered to Sunshine Studio by Ron Laahty in May of 2019. Ron said this stone was from Courtland, AZ - a ghost town in Cochise County, Arizona, that was founded in 1909 due to a copper boom. We think this stone is chrysocolla/tenorite and quite lovely! The maiden symbolizes abundance, fertility and feminine energy & the corn maiden is venerated in Zuni for giving up her life for the health of the community.
