Turquoise* Sea Turtle by Andrew and Laura Quam, Deceased

A turquoise sea turtle with coral inlaid eyes and jet inlaid claws by Andrew & Laura Quam, now deceased. The couple has incised the shell into 13 scutes and then inlaid each with a coral dot. Turtle medicine is to go with the flow, due to the turtle's proclivity to go with the current & the turtle symbolically represents mother earth.
